The leopard was found in the area roaming around the ‘Engine Department’ somewhere around 4 am and was seen by a security personnel who was on duty.
GURGAON: A leopard was spotted in a factory early this morning near Delhi. The factory is of India’s biggest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki. The scary animal was spotted in the factory premises of Manesar plant roaming around 4 am.
Police and forest officials sealed off the factory premises and immediately launched the search operation to find the leopard, according to police officials.
The leopard was seen and found by security personnel roaming inside the ‘Engine Department’
Over Thousands of workers who work on daily basis and where the shift is started at 7 in the morning, they were asked not to enter the premises and wait outside for the safety., according to police officer.
Private security guards were also said to keep distance from the prone area.
” forest department official team, police and also wildlife personnel were called to catch safely the leopard. We have sealed off the plant and search operation has also been conducted to catch the leopard. However, he was seen once but we haven’t catched him yet,” said the officer.
In April this year, a leopard entered in Sohna’s road house, somewhere around 30 km away, and left 5 people wounded.
