An incident of firing in Delhi’s Rohini court has been reported. One person was shot dead in this incident on Monday morning.

The firing happened in the corridor area near the canteen when the undertrial was being taken out from the court. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.

If we talk about this incident then such violence was reported in December 2015, when four assailants opened fire inside the courtroom at Karkardooma Court Complex in the east Delhi. In that incident, head constable was killed and the three others injured.

The firing happened, when an accused with around 100 cases against him being produced at the courtroom number 73. People who were present in the room including the judge, they had to run for the cover as assailants fired indiscriminately, eyewitnessed it.

This is the second incident of firing over the last two years in a Delhi court .
