The bollywood actress Alia Bhatt opened up about Nepotism and how this work in Bollywood Industry. She gave quite wise answer when she was asked about her views on Nepotism.
If we talk about her career, she made her debut as a child artist. Alia played the younger character of actress Preity Zinta in film “Sangharsh” in 1999. She played her first lead role in Karan Johar’s film ‘Student of the Year’ in 2012. At a very young age, the talented actress proved herself and she has given back to back hits. The actress worked in various films including Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Udta Punjab, Highway. She is currently busy in shooting for the film Brahmastra.
In an Interview with The Times of India, Alia Bhatt said that, “Of late, I have realised that there is no need to defend the nepotistic nature of the industry because it does exist. The reason why it has become an emotional debate is because those who don’t get a chance, it is difficult for them.
Alia Bhatt said that, “If I was on the other side, I would be heartbroken. I may have felt the same way.”
We must say that the actress has given a wise answer because she accepted that Nepotism exists in Bollywood industry. The actor also said that Nepotism is a big problem for those people who are deserving but don’t get that perfect shot in bollywood industry.
Further she added that, “It does exist everywhere, but bollywood industry is the only business where no fixed funda will work. You have to be at right place at the right time. For example, if you want to be a doctor, you study, give your examination and get a job. In the film business, you can do whatever you want, but there has to be that X-factor that people talk about.”
Alia Bhatt will be seen in upcoming film Brahmastra featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna. Apart from this film, she will be seen in more films such as Zero, Gully Boy and Kalank.
