The FIFA Football World Cup is being played in Russia and the craze can be seen within the game lovers, across the world. It is very interesting to see that the cricketers love to play the game of football before the start of play, in order to warm up.
The Indian team is also seen taking part in charity football matches, in order to raise money for social causes. Recently Yuvraj Singh, revealed that even the youngest of lads in the Indian team can not beat the legendary veteran MS Dhoni when it comes to football.
The talkative and witty southpaw not only talked about MS but also pulled legs of the likes of Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and skipper Virat Kohli too. About Virat, Yuvi was pretty clear that he has great fitness levels but he just does not get the ball in the goal.
“Virat is really fit and can run the length and breadth of the pitch with high speed, but unfortunately, he can never score goals. He has a lot of skills but sadly lacks the finish. I think he needs to work on that.” said the Punjabi.
Jokingly, he gave some serious advice to Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya when he said that “Jasprit Bumrah shouldn’t play football. Hardik Pandya is a really bad footballer. He too needs to improve his football skills”
We all know how the talented Rohit Sharma looks lazy on the field, and Yuvraj was on the same note as everyone else when he said that the Indian opener moves very less on the field.  “Rohit Sharma is a horrible soccer player. He just passes the ball and then doesn’t move. He is always standing in an off-side position. Zaheer Khan is also like Rohit, barely wants to run on the football ground. Ashish Nehra, I would advise shouldn’t play football because everytime he plays, he gets injured.”
After all the leg-pulling, he was asked who is a good soccer player, he replied “Mahi (Dhoni) is an excellent soccer player” On a YouTube cricket stories show even KL Rahul and Ravichandran Ashwin named MS Dhoni as the best football player in the team.
