On Wednesday, a senior councilman in Moscow advised the native women of Russia to not to have sexual relations with non-white foreign men. Being the host of World Cup 2018 there would be a lot of incoming traffic of men of different religion and race. In this regard, keeping previous instances in mind the parliament legislates asked the women to avoid having sex with them.
There have been cases where the Russian women have been married to foreigners but are ultimately left stranded with a child to take care of all alone. Sometimes they are not even able to get their children back as told by Tamara Pletnyova, head of parliament’s committee for families, women and children.
She made this remark when she was asked by Govorit Moskva radio station about “Children of the Olympics” after the games in Moscow in 1980 when contraception was not even available to everyone.
Pletnyova told the radio,
“We must give birth to our children. These (mixed race) kids suffer and have suffered since Soviet times,”
This term came into existence in the Soviet Era there were many inter-racial non-white children were conceived and left behind who had to face the wrath of incoming discrimination.
“It’s one thing if they’re of the same race but quite another if they’re of a different race. I’m not a nationalist, but nevertheless I know that children suffer. They are abandoned, and that’s it, they stay here with mum”
She also stated that she would like Russian citizens to get married “out of love regardless of their ethnicity”.
Another councilmember had the opinion that foreign fans may bring virus and infect Russians.
Alexander Sherin also commented on the matter and said that Russians should be careful in their communications with foreigners as they might try to circulate banned substances during the tournament.
The match is going to have its kick start today in the capital of Russia between the host team and Saudi Arabia. There will be thousands of Soccer fans traveling from all around the world to Russia to witness the games.
FIFA and the Russia 2018 organizing committee denied to make any remarks on the statement made by Pletynova.
