Netizens went all swooning over the fitness challenge initiated by the Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore who challenged India’s Cricket team Captain Virat Kohli to share his fitness regime and the chain reaction begun with the tagging of prominent leaders in the challenge. The fitness regime challenge requires a person to share their fitness mantra on their social Media and further challenge their friends to do so.
The India Skipper challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to share his fitness workout on the social media, And within a month after accepting the challenge from the Cricket Star Prime Minister posted a workout video of his fitness regime where he is seen walking on a path inspired by Panchtatva and alonside performing some Yoga. Alonngside completing the challenege Prime Minister Modi further challenged Kumarswamy to carryforth the challenge by sharing his fitness regime.
Kumaraswamy, who is currently heading the Congress-JD(S) alliance government in Karnataka, replied to PM Modi’s challenge in a very hostile manner. Well the response was a bit sarcastic where the leader said that even though treadmill and yoga were regular part of his fitness routine, he would rather focus on development fitness of his state.
Tweeting his own fitness regime with the hashtag #HumFitTohIndiaFit, PM Modi on Wednesday said he does yoga, breathing exercises apart from walking on the track inspired by the Panchtatvas.
Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature – Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice
breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit pic.twitter.com/km3345GuV2

In the following tweet, the PM nominated Karnataka CM, Commonwealth Games 2018 gold medal winner Manika Batra and IPS officers to take up the challenge next.
“I am delighted to nominate the following for the #FitnessChallenge: Karnataka’s CM Shri @hd_kumaraswamy. India’s pride and among the highest medal winners for India in the 2018 CWG, @manikabatra_TT. The entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40,” the tweet said.
PM Modi also appealed to every Indian to devote some part of the day towards fitness.
The campaign has found wide support from sports and film industry. Several stars like Sonam Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Yusuf Pathan have accepted the challenge in the past.
Seems like the country needs to buck up with their fitness regime with all the prominent personalities so much concerned about it.
