Natural sugars are found in fruits and vegetables as fructose and in dairy products, such as milk and cheese, as lactose. When we eat fruits or vegetables it not only contains fructose it also contains vitamin, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber that allow your body to slow down the absorption of fructose so it will not cause your blood sugar level rises and insulin spike.
Refined sugar is known as cane sugar or white sugar or table sugar. Usually, this sugar is a combination of glucose and fructose, called sucrose.
Refined sugar does not contain any vitamins, minerals or fiber because in the refining process all these things get removed. Refined sugar has no fiber to slow down its absorption, so it’s digested rapidly and enters the bloodstream very quickly, it will cause your blood sugar level rises and insulin spike.
Higher consumption of refined sugar produces more insulin in our body. Over time it may lead to many health problems.
Refined Sugar also contains empty calories means there is No minerals, No Protein, No fiber.
So actually we don’t have any problem with natural sugar because its absorption is slow in your body but you have to limit our refined sugar intake.
What is a Safe Amount of Refined Sugar to Eat Per Day?
Men can take 37.5-gram sugar and Women can take 25-grams sugar per day. If your refined sugar intake is high than this then start to cut down because later on It will cause you many health problems.
