The trailer of the biopic of Sanjay Dutt starer Ranbeer Kapoor has stirred the pot of his controversial life he leads. Since the time the trailer is out, the movie has become the talk of the town or to be the more precise talk of almost the whole nation. The movie showcases his relationship with his parents and obviously his love interests and the women he dated. Shockingly one of the most tumultuous facts uncovered is that he has slept with around 308 women in his life till now!
In an interview with India Today, the director of the movie, Rajkumar Hirani revealed how Sanjay Dutt used to trick women emotionally by taking them to his mother’s grave which was actually fake. The situation made the women feel that he is in a vulnerable position. Taking advantage of that he used to lure them to bed.
Recalling one of the incidents of Dutt’s past life, Hirani disclosed,
“A girl broke up with him. So, Sanjay took his friend’s new car and smashed it into another car parked outside his ex-girlfriend’s house. Later on, Sanju found out that the car he rammed into belonged to his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend. Both cars were severely damaged.”
These facts are not hard to digest given his playboy reputation in the Bollywood. He has also been linked to being having an affair with various B-town actresses like Madhuri Dixit, Tina Munim, and Richa Sharma.
But a film is not only about the spiced up love stories, romance and betrayal. The movie also portrays his struggles and addictions and other personal demons. It delves deeper than the superficial value of the subject.
Most of the supporting roles in the upcoming biopic of Sanjay Dutt are based on real people in the actor’s life—his father Sunil Dutt is played by Paresh Rawal, his mother Nargis is played by Manisha Koirala and his wife Manyata is played by Dia Mirza.
